The suit, filed on behalf of people who either live or work in Newburgh, claims the city negligently allowed Lake Washington to become contaminated through the use of perfluorooctane sulfonate at Stewart Air National Guard Base, the Record said.
The plaintiffs in the suit claim the toxins in the water supply created health problems like testicular cancer and ulcerative colitis, the Record said.
